Lord Percival Has Standards. We Passed.
Anna from our customer care team dropped us a note this week.
Not about a complaint, not about sizing, not even about shipping. It was the best message we've received in a while.
It came from Mark: "As a huge fan, especially of your ROMA slippers that I've already used to the end, my wife and I thought you might like the attached photo of Lord Percival (Percy), our cat, who, whenever I'm not wearing them, insists on tucking his paws inside!
Crazy as it may sound, would it be possible to make a tiny pair of ROMAs for Percy (we are happy to pay for these) and please feel free to use his photo for any marketing… we all adore the comfort, style and humble branding.
Mark, Anne and Percy."
Now, we get a lot of messages from dog owners. Usually along the lines of: "Our dog ate your shoes." Which, to be fair, says something about the leather. They know quality when they taste it.
But this was a first.
A cat.
Choosing to spend time in our shoes.
Not destroying them. Not ignoring them. Actively seeking them out.
We can only conclude that Lord Percival has excellent taste.
We did look into the idea of making him his own tiny pair. Sadly, creating a mould that small would cost an arm and a leg. Not Percy's, obviously. Ours.
We had to say no. Percy's response is pending. We are nervous.
So for now, Percy will have to share.
Unless… we start a whole Pet Line?
We're only half joking.
