Feito com Orgulho - Made with Pride
Handmade items carry the unique personal touch that reflects the maker's individual skill and care.
Our shoes possess a warmth and authenticity that mass-produced objects simply cannot replicate.
FINNISH DESIGN. PORTUGESE CRAFTMANSHIP.
We keep things simple: designed in Finland, hand made in Portugal. This combo gives us the best of both worlds – clean Nordic aesthetics and generations of Portugese shoemaking know-how.
WHY PORTUGAL?
Portugal isn’t just where our shoes are made, it’s where craftsmanship lives. We chose our factory here not only for the exceptional skill, but because our partners share our values: fairness, quality, and respect for people and the planet.

FAMILY AFFAIR
When you visit our main factory outside Porto, you’ll meet Ismael. He’s been making shoes since he was 17 years old. That’s over 30 years of experience!
His father, uncle, wife, mother-in-law, and son Denis all work there, alongside 100 other skilled artisans.

Stay for lunch
The workday runs from 8 to 12 and then 2 to 5, with a proper two-hour lunch break in between. As Americans and Finns, we were surprised and slightly envious of this refreshingly human rhythm.
In Portugal, lunch is serious business. It’s not a rushed sandwich at your desk, but a full meal, often shared, often multi-course, and always unhurried. The long break is a tradition shaped by both culture and climate, and it's something we've learned to admire. We’ve also learned to pack stretchy pants.

It takes a village
While they’ve added some modern tech like laser cutting leather pieces, most of the work is still done by hand.
Each pair passes through many skilled hands in the process of cutting, stitching, shaping, gluing and finishing, with quality checks at every stage.
They are proud of their work, and so are we. As we grow, we continue to create more jobs, support local communities, and keep the appreciation for true artisanship alive for future generations.
