WHERE KALLE'S MOOMIN OBSESSION ACTUALLY BEGAN
OPENING SCENE: It's the Monday after launch weekend for VIBAe x MOOMIN. Kalle is still wearing his weekend energy. Hannu has a laptop open.

KALLE: "Okay. Before we talk numbers. I need to say something. This collaboration means a lot to me."
HANNU: "I figured. You've mentioned it seventeen times since Friday."
KALLE: "My first memory of the Moomins isn't far from where we're sitting right now. In the early seventies my grandparents lived two streets over. I was in day care, right around the corner."
HANNU: "So the Moomins basically raised you."
KALLE: "Like they did all the kids in Finland. I remember the Who Will Comfort Toffle book from that time. Before I could really read the Moomin books myself."
HANNU: "And now there's a shoe."
KALLE: "And to think. It started with Snoopy, actually. Remember the artist called CANTSTOPGOODBOY, Nick Simon, the contemporary pop and street artist out of LA. He made us a few pairs of ROMA shoes using vintage Gucci and Louis Vuitton bag material, hand-painted with Snoopy on them."
HANNU: “That's usually how the best ideas arrive here. Sideways."

NOW, THE NUMBERS
KALLE: "Alright. Tell me. Who bought first?"
HANNU: "First two orders came from Norway. Third one came from Sweden."
KALLE: "Oh come on Finns, no way Sweden and Norway beat us!”
HANNU: "They usually do. But by the end of the weekend, the US led on order count. Germany second. UK third.”
KALLE: "But... what about us Finns...?”
HANNU: "Ask something else.”
KALLE: "And outside Europe?"
HANNU: "Kuwait. Taiwan. UAE. Canada."
KALLE (leaning back): "You know what gets me. The Moomins are this specific, quiet, slightly melancholic Finnish thing. And somehow everyone, everywhere, just gets it."
HANNU: "Comfort translates. Doesn't need subtitles."
KALLE: "Neither does a good shoe, apparently."
HANNU: "Careful. That's almost a tagline."
KALLE: "Write it down before I lose it."
