Okay, so I don’t wear these with actual shoes. These are for those nights when my feet are cold and keep me awake. If I lived in a cold climate rather than rainy temperate Portugal, I’d undoubtedly live in them all winter. I love that they come in three sizes, as I am a 41 and these actually fit. For those looking for a high percentage wool, truly warm sock, this is it. My only caveat is that they are a bit scratchy, which I an fine with on feet, but others may find bothersome.

I’m wearing them now and they are so warm and comfortable. Really good and thick. Got them to fill the extra half size of my wellington boots that are a little too big for me. They do just that. If your boots are a snug fit, these may be too thick. And the blue colour packs a punch.
