OPENING SCENE: Minna is scrolling on her iPhone at the office.
MINNA: “It says here that flipflops are a big thing.”
KALLE: “They’ve been a thing since the dawn of time. Pretty sure Adam wore them.”
MINNA: “So… should we?”
KALLE (dramatic pause): “You know we should…”
Kalle and Minna exchange a look that’s equal parts excitement and terror.
THE CALL
Kalle takes out his phone with the caution of someone handling explosives.
KALLE: “I’m making the call. Brace yourself.”
The phone rings twice.
LUDO (on speaker): “Hello?”
KALLE: “Ludo, it’s minus ten degrees Celsius here… but we’re thinking flipflops.”
Silence. The worrying kind.
LUDO: “FINALLY! I’ve been WAITING for this! I already have—”
Kalle pulls the phone away from his ear.
KALLE (whispering to Minna): “And so it begins…”
MINNA (calling out): “Remember — we’re a sustainable company. Small collection!”
LUDO: “Of course! I’M SENDING SKETCHES ASAP!”
Kalle ends the call, smiling.
KALLE: “The drawings will be in our inbox in…”
His phone pings. First design attachment received.
There. That’s how it’s done.
